MILAN (AP) — Nine hours before playing the latest big game of his life, Dylan Larkin knew what was at stake for him and his U.S. teammates at the Olympics. “For all of us, it’s two games for legacy,” Larkin said.

The Olympics are Larkin’s first chance to win something on such a big stage, and he’s proved willing to do anything for his team.
Larkin High School in Elgin broke ground Tuesday on its $15.1 million sports stadium, which will be ready for use this fall.
Larkin, a Michigan native, leads the Red Wings in goals (22), assists (35) and points (57) in 59 games this season. The captain was in the final year of a five-year contract before signing the multi-year extension. He was photographed signing the new contract with Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman earlier.
This is Erin Larkin's second time entering the South Side Irish Parade Queen selection.
