Our elementary students recently explored stop-motion animation during Library. The technique has its roots in some of the early Disney cartoons and has been used in many classic films, including The Nightmare Before Christmas, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, and The Year Without a Santa Claus. Students learned how to use an animation app on their iPads and developed an original idea to bring their story to life. It was a way to express their creativity and tell their story.
