Explore KU in oil, water, ink, color and stone: lithography. Last spring, printmaking students in Chalmers Hall created a limestone lithographic stone drawing with visiting artist David Sandlin. Lithography, a practice over 200 years old, involves imprinting a drawing on a flat stone. After processing the image by treating it with various chemicals, the image can be reproduced.
